I love Blue Sky Alpaca kits! I am knitting the Eyelet Baby Blanket right now in their dyed cotton color Honeydew. VERY cute. I can’t wait to see how the Bobbi Bear will turn out!

You can definitely pull off the hair. For some reason, a haircut is a must for major life changes. And you don’t have to get a real tattoo on your neck. There are some cool fake ones out there…or have a henna tattoo!

Also, I was reading some archives of the Yarn Harlot’s blog yesterday and she wrote that someone once told her to “Act the way you want to feel.” I think that’s great advice…and that’s exactly what you’re doing. I hope things continue to get better and better. *hugs*

Hi! You will absolutely love the Twizzle. I made two pairs of socks last winter out of it and they are beautiful. The first couple of wearings turned my feet colors, but that’s okay! I was newly separated (now almost divorced) and no one saw my feet anyway. Just be sure to wash whatever you make alone until there’s no more bleeding.

I also made the matinee coat out of Cashmerino in the lavender color and gave it as a gift. Debbie Bliss patterns are so timeless and the yarn is so luscious. One guy friend wanted to know if he could roll around naked in the Cashmerino. I told him he’d have to ask his wife and I’d have to leave the room, but I totally understood!

You seem to be holding up well. Remember that things will get to normal–not back to normal but a new normal.

I, too, am just back from vacation and I’m so very sorry about the unexpected changes in your life. I’m happy to see that you’re working your way through everything with knitting and dogs. You are the most creative person… even special equipment for knitting pics. WAIT! Are you writing a knitting book and illustrating it yourself?

As for the Posh hair — you look so cute now and if you change it to that style, well, watch out Texas!
