Three Little Birds

Ooooo…didn’t feel like posting. Then this happened!

Do you know the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and the Wailers?

Rise up this morning,
Smiled with the rising sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singing sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Saying, this is my message to you…

Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Don’t worry about a thing,
Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

I swear, I opened the door, and they were there! They weren’t afraid or anything – they just sat and watched me. What a wonderful surprise!

I was feeling sad and weird, and they totally changed my attitude.

Three little birds.

  2. What a great surprise to have these birds greet you in the morning! I am glad you feel a little better now. And I am glad you posted. I love hearing from you.

  3. Staci- sorry to post this rather than e-mail; at work, can’t e-mail. Anyway, I’m looking at circular needle sets (interchangeable), do you have a set? if not have you seen any you prefer over others? Thanks1

  4. Birds are awesome! I once had a pigeon who came to my door for tatertots each day! I highly recommend getting a squirrel friend too.

  5. A wonderful gift, and the best part of all is that you noticed it and it made you small. Everything’s gonna be all right. You are not alone.

  6. That is a great song and a great photo! And also a very good sign for good things and good times to come. I love mourning doves- they are so peaceful. Don’t know if you have a bird feeder. I recently got a “squirrel proof” bird feeder and I cannot tell you how much I’ve enjoyed watching the birds. It has brought me a lot of tranquility during a really really stressful time at work. I highly recommend it to add a layer of peace and calm to your day.

  7. Things show up for a reason—these are your little glimmers of hope to keep you going! I love watching birds, especially when they let me. There’s always something brighter around the next corner…..or something like that. Enjoy and I hope they return again soon!

  8. Just one of life’s little “cheer up!” messages, I think. That reminds me of the last time I felt really, truly sad and weird. I was sitting at a stoplight, thinking about everything I was hopelessly depressed about when I noticed the license plate of the car in front of me. It said “ITLBOK.” I thought, “It’ll… bok? What the heck does that mean?” Then I realized it meant, “It’ll be okay.” And it was! And it’ll “bok” for you too. lol
