Otherwise Occupied

This isn’t an apology for not posting much over the last few weeks, but more of an explanation as to why…

img_7595.JPG I have an empty house to fill.

In Austin!

Closing was yesterday, and move-in date is very soon.

See why I’ve been busy?

img_7578.JPG Aaaaand, some doggie goodness.

I’m going to fall off the face of the earth for a little while, but I’ll be back soon. And when I get back, I’ll start an exciting new chapter.

🙂

  7. Congrats! It looks like a very lovely house to me, the red is very cosy and the/a garden is nearby. 2008 will be a good year for you in your new house.

  8. Congrats on the new house and best wishes for your fresh start. Hope to see you back here soon and we’ll have to check out an online housewarming party. The peek has me curiouser and curiouser–I second the pictures request. Take care of yourself and doggies in the meanwhile.

  14. house pic #1 looks great. where are the rest? fireplace… i’m so jealous. it’s freakishly cold and snowy/icy here in wisco. congrats on the new house. can’t wait to see you make it a home. i’ll try to be patient for updates. just try to enjoy the move and new space without getting all, well, like me when it comes to moving. 😉 hugs and kisses to you and the boys.

  15. Looks awesome, Staci! The red is dramatic, and I love the big windows. Can’t wait for more details! (I live in a shoebox and like it, but I do like to imagine living in a bigger place that would be a bitch to clean. ;)Maybe in my next life, LOL.)

Have you decided which boys will live with whom?

Has it been long enough to ask The Question? You know, the one that everyone wonders but doesn’t want to ask? Probably not. Never mind.

  16. I like! What section of Austin are you in?

And I’m sure the Boys will like those nice low, big windows to look out.
After wind chills of below zero this AM I think Raisin and Rudy will be hitching to Austin. And I’ll be right behind them.

  17. Way to go, Staci! I can’t wait to see more pics of your new place. I can tell it’s going to be fabulous. *hugs* 🙂

  18. Congratulations! Happy new house day! Welcome to Austin. If you need anything holler, really, I have power tools and ladders.

  19. Buying a house on my own, after my divorce, was so scary and sooo wonderfully exciting! This house is MINE! Buying the house was my way of taking back some control in my life. While the house is certainly smaller than my married house, I love, love, love this sweetie baby house. I did it, ME! Congrats on YOUR house, I wish you so much happiness in it. Merry Christmas!

  20. Geez…I’m a little late.

    Welcome home!

Well, you know, for when you actually get moved in.
