	Oh, Austin. You’re making it very difficult for me to stay in love with you. It was ONE-HUNDRED-SEVEN degrees yesterday.
	And this old beast of an air conditioner is barely hanging on. I’m on hold now with my home warranty company. Replacing this old girl will cost me a flat fee of $60, not thousands. Whew. So glad I have a home warranty. Next…!

	Just off the needles – Hogwarts’ double-knit bookscarves. These are for a class I’m teaching in July. Yes, Ravenclaw is shorter than the others. Whoops. Next…!
	I’m still on hold with the home warranty company. I really want to get the a/c fixed ASAP. Poor Ike is finally showing his age this summer, and the heat is getting to him. I’ll stay on hold all day if that’s what it takes. Next…!

I have my fingers crossed that the A/C cannot be repaired and leave them no choice but to replace it. Home warranty companies are notorious for being complete and total bastards. Do I sound bitter? Absolutely

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your heat, your A/C and the hold time! I hope you’re not on hold anymore and that you get it fixed soon!

Your book scarves are awesome and your knitting videos will be excellent!

We have our home warranty with American Home Shield and they have been great for the 5 years we’ve been with them. We used to pay only $50 per repair but it’s gone up the last two years, now it’s $60.
