  1. Hi Staci! Another great video as usual. You are an inspiration to me as a knitter. I’ve learned so much from you.
One thing I wanted to mention was you forgot to say in the video that the crochet bind-off is also a good bind off because it a very stretchy. I like using that bind-off when I need a little extra stretch on the item. I just finished using it on a preemie hat I knitted top down. Thanks again and I admire you not just as a knitter but as a person too. Thanks so much!!!

  2. You’re welcome, Grace Mae. But I have to disagree with you on the stretchiness – this BO is identical to the knitted BO. The only way it would be stretchier is if you commonly work the knitted BO too tightly. This method can help you loosen up, but it is not a stretchier BO.

  3. Oh wow! Why didn’t I discover this sooner? I struggle with making the knitted BO even and not too tight. This will be my new go-to when a simple BO is all that is needed. Thanks so much!

  4. Staci,

Wow…never tried this….I have been crocheting forever. I bet this will be a snap for me. Thanks so much for another way of doing things that I did not know!

  5. Thank you so much for all of your videos, and patterns. You have made me a lot better knitter than before. You are amazing, I am doing the top down sweater of yours now. And I love the dishcloths!!! Next will be the toe-down socks. Thank You so much. Let’s keep a good thing going.

  6. Hi, Staci! I just want to thank you for this site and all the videos. You’re an excellent teacher, I can really say it because I’m a brazilian knitter living in Sao Paulo/Brazil, and with my poor English can still learn with your teachings and tips. You are truly an inspiration! Knitting is a gift, but the generosity of teaching is an even greater gift. Thanks so much!

  7. Great video as always!! Also I love the two shawls in this video. They are gorgeous, great colors and patterns. You wouldn’t happen to have patterns available or know where we can find them?
