  1. thank you for this video. It encouraged me to try another pattern that starts like this. Now I know I wasn’t doing something wrong!!

  2. Great pattern and as always supported by a wonderful video. Its torture at the moment woke up about a week ago with a dead right arm, then suffering terrible pain, have been to the medical centre and have a scan booked next week! I haven’t been able to knit now for a week….yes a week!! Oh so much frustration, I’m dying to pick up the needles and get back onto my Travellers quilt, but my knitting has been confiscated, help with sympathy and videos!!!!!

  3. Thank you so much for this video. I think you must be psychic. I purchased the 55 Christmas Balls book a few weeks ago and have been tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to start. I have started over so many times and just couldn’t get the hang of it. I was just thinking yesterday that I wish you would post something that would help — and you did!!!! I have now finished one ball and am working on the 2nd.

Thank you so much. I have learned so much from you and think your videos are wonderful.

  4. I always find the Magic Loop Method easier to do when starting out with few stitches…..I tried and tried to start with dpns but just couldnt get the hang of it, had trouble with the yarn slipping off the needles!!

  5. Thanks. I got so frustrated when trying to knit my first lil teddy bear for this very reason. It’s still a sad lil bear without arms & legs so far b/c I’ve moved on to your spiral scarf.

  6. Thanks for a wonderful video yet again!!! However, I am working on a shawl pattern which begins with 8 stitches on dpns however the rounds are a k, yo, k, yo. This means there are yo’s at the end of each dpn (section). The yo keeps falling off. I switched to the magic loop method and still have the same problem with the yo’s on the cable……can you suggest a way that would help me with this problem? I go to your video’s for just about every question I have and have even worked some of your patterns but have not seen one for this issue.

  7. Please, please could you show putting in a zipper in a cardigan? Would you make suggestions for the weight of the zipper for various yarns. Thanks so much for all your tutorials.
