  1. I love the crochet series. I taught myself from a book a couple of years ago. Granny squares and now I am working on a ripple blanket, inbetween knitting! I really loved your clear instructions of sewing the squares together because I had not got that right myself. And am going to do another granny blanket and sew it correctly!

Do you think you would do a pattern/video for a simple crochet top? I would do this and follow along.

  2. I learned knitting when I was nine and haven’t done any in a long time, but of late I have been watching video tutorials on youtube and other sites, and i must say, you are the best person for giving tutorials that I have come across so far. You are very professional in your filming, knitting and attitude. The tutorials are very precise and clear. Thanks for making the videos.

  3. How would you attach this to a knitted throw/afghan to create a border? Thanks for all your tutorials.

  4. Thank you so much for your tutorials. They truly are very helpful. I am exploring crochet borders for a knitted blanket I just completed. It recommends the I-cord and am excited about using the crochet double chain stitch instead. Do you think doing a single crochet stitch around the blanket’s border as my base row and then complete my second row using the double chain a good way to go? Thanks so much.

  5. Hi Teresa – I’m not sure that I can answer your question, I would need to test it out. I’ve never worked “attached” crochet double chain stitch, the way you would work it as a border. I’ve only worked it “detached” as I show in the video. But it’s worth a try if you’d like to give it a go!

    Good luck –
