  1. I discovered these fabulous cubic needles a few months ago. Now, that’s all I use. Since I have arthritis in both hands and gout in my left hand, these needles have been a life saver. I’ve been able to continue knitting without all the pain which other needles were creating.

I’ve also recently discovered small circular needles (9″ and 12″). Can you please give me your thoughts on these needles? I’ve been very tempted to buy one of the small circular needles in order to try knitting a pair of socks with them. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for being a fabulous knitting teacher for me. I’ve learned so much from your videos. Every time I see a pattern which I really want to knit, I magically find it on your website. A great example is Frankie’s Ten Stich Blanket. I printed it out a couple of years ago, but had been reluctant to start it. Then it appeared on your website. Thank you so much for all you do!!

  2. Hi Nanette – thank you for the note. To answer your question, I have tried using the really short circulars (9 and 12″), and I don’t like them. To accommodate the short cord, the needles have to be really short, making them hard to hold. Some people really like them, but in my opinion, 16″ is the shortest length of circulars I like to use. If my knitting requires a shorter cord, I switch to DPNs.

  3. Hi,

Just found your videos and that lead to your web site. I have been searching for clear how to videos. You have made my day.

Thank you so much for what you do.
