Information on items in this video:
The socks I used in the photo is from Turtlepurl Yarns (available on Etsy), color Absynthe.

The yarn I used in the fingering weight men’s socks is Knit Picks Stroll Tonal. The gray yarn used at the toes and heels is some unknown leftover yarn.

The yarn I used in the men’s DK weight socks is Knit Picks Hawthorne Sport, in color Irvington.

The 9” circular needles I used for demonstration are Knitter’s Pride Platinas.

The yarn I use in my demo sock is Knit Picks Hawthorne Sport – I think Knit Picks has recently discontinued that yarn.

My nail polish is by Gelish, color “Mauve Your Feet”.

  1. Love the look and fit of this heel!
Would you recommend to use this heel with your lace patterned sock, or any lace or cable pattern for that matter? Would it look odd?
    I love patterned socks.
    Thanks

    • Corrine – I haven’t tried it myself, but I don’t think it would look much different than any patterned sock with a stockinette heel. Could be really cool if the shape of the heel adds to the stitch pattern.
