Is it Friday again already? Well, good. I’m ready to change topics fastly…
Let’s get the title to the post out of the way first…
Here’s my South Park character. She looks as much like me as my Simpsons character, I suppose. Mo sent me the link to this little treat. You can make your own here. Next…! |

I finished the top!
This is Twisted Sisters Pattern “Eve”. I have a feeling I will wear it more like this than how the model is wearing it. I’m not even gonna model it like she did for a laugh. I’m more of a “bra girl” myself. |
|
The yarn is perfect for this scarf. It is Mountain Colors Twizzle, in merino and silk.
Reversible cables. No wrong side. Super soft and warm. Thanks again for the yarn gift, Melissa! Next…! |

I like to think that I care about my appearance. I take time to do my hair, wear makeup, and keep my nails nice.
So why on earth do I wear this ugly row counter half of the day? Is anyone out there making a row counter that I can wear with pride? Next…! |

This is my lovely souvenir from the girls’ trip last weekend.
It is made from the fuzzy fur of the alpacas on the Old Oaks Ranch, and spun with a little angora bunny. I even found out that the bunny’s name is Charmin. Don’t squeeze her! Next…! |

We are Ba-sen-jis if you please. We are Ba-sen-jis if you don’t please. Have a great weekend! |
i LOVE that scarf. the model pose/attire not so much.
basenji pictures always make me smile. they both look so cute there (which is to be expected)
I love Lady and the Tramp! Those cats frightened me as a child, though.
Have a great weekend! 🙂
I’m certain there are many ways to jazz up a row counter….this could be neat new product and spin on jewelry.
Oh my you did put a tune in my head with the “Ba-sen-jis” verse……..
Abe is looking at you a little strangely don’t you think. Were you singing to them at the time?
Your “top” is gorgeous. I think you should ‘bejewel’ your row counter….. and I love your comments for the dogs – so cute! I had a LATT 45 record and I used to play that some over and over again – even though I’ve ALWAYS been a dog person….. your South Park character is cute. I tried to save mine and couldnt’ so I can’t post it….. have a super friday.
Love the scarf and I always love seeing the dogs. I carry around a row counter too, but it isn’t on a neclace. Cool idea. I don’t knit but I use it for my crocheting. Maybe I should put it on a chain.
Have a great weekend.
To answer Kristi’s question about Abe’s expression in the photo…
They were laying there, cute as can be. To get them to look at the camera, I went “ooooooooooooooooooooo”. That made both of them look at me, and Abe cock his head.
🙂
oh my, that’s some top. :O
you need a bedazzler. 😀
perfect song for your boys. it works with “my” boys too, but only because they are siamese. hehehe…
I would totally put a sticker on the row counter. Maybe even a puffy glittery sticker. And spruce it up with a metal chain! With beads! *is getting so craft-spired*
the scarf came out beautifully! And what are you going to make with the yarn from Wimberly?
Love the scarf! And for some reason that basenji pic (and caption) really just tickled my funny bone! Thanks for the great laugh 🙂
Your dogs crack me up. I love the caption too. I tried to find a pretty row counter online – no luck. I like the ideas of bejeweling it. It could be the row counter with bling!
I had to send you this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rW2I6KmWhw
Dooce had it up on her site, so you’ve probably sceen it already, but just incase you missed it….
Ha! Love the “top” — and Charmin’s yarn — and the pups — and your southpark character! Your row counter kind of looks like a little upside-down frog face — not chic enough for you, huh?
Yr not dead!
Oh, and I tried making a Simpsons character tonight… But it didn’t work out too well. I kept getting ERRROR messages.
The scarf turned out great!
You totally need one of those lovely bead bracelet counters. In pink, of course. Or you should bedazzle your green one. I’m just sayin’…
