A few months ago, I interviewed Judy Graham, aka “Knitter to the Stars”. She and I had so much fun and became friends in real life. You can see that video here.
You can see Judy’s videos on her YouTube Channel, Knitting Tips by Judy.
The poncho I’m wearing is my Rodeo Drive Poncho, pattern + video tutorial.
The Sockhead is a free hat pattern (and not my design). I knit mine using Shalimar Breathless yarn. You can find the pattern here.
This video was shot at the YouTube Space in Los Angeles, California.
What a fabulous and fun video! Thank you for sharing your visit with Judy.
I am half way through my Rodeo Drive Poncho project. I am loving this pattern! 🙂
I just loved watching you and Judy together. It was a great video. It was so interesting learning more about you and how you learned to knit. Those dolls were great for young child to make.
By the way I am almost finished with the Rodeo Drive Poncho, love this pattern.
Thank you Staci for teaching all of us with knowledge and your humor.
A terrific interview full of laughter, humour and fun.
Love the dolls that you made…another pattern perhaps in the future?!
Thank you for your very clear and inspiring instruction videos. Maureen
I enjoyed this video a lot. I to have a few things in common. I do my own nails, I learned to crochet before knitting and find it to be easier and I listen to audio books while I’m running on the treadmill.
At night when I go to sleep I listen to talk radio, I keep it very low and since my clock has an automatic off switch I set it to turn off automatically.
Thanks for the fun video. Keep them coming.
Absolutely delightful! My two favorite knitters together! I love that you are friends!!
What a great conversation!
Those dolls you made are wonderful — what a great gift to have given the woman who taught you to knit. I can imagine how much they warmed her heart every time she thought about how her efforts had taken hold in such a talented little girl.
All of the video was interesting, every bit of it. It made me smile to hear that you learned to crochet very young and knitting came later. Sixty years ago, when I was seven, my big sister taught me to crochet. I learned to knit ten years later from a pamphlet that showed how to do a knit and purl stitch. Now I learn new things from you.
Thank you!
Fabuous video, always fun to learn a few details of one of my favourite instructor/ designers. Glad to see you are friends. In the still on the utube screen you are strikingly similar in looks you and Judy you could be related.
Thank you for the entertainment hope you two team up for a project or two
What a great interview! You two have a wonderful rapport. Btw, did you ever finish that deep red sockhead hat? I can’t see any on your Rav page. Did it work out well?
Gillian – you caught me! I hardly post any of my finished knits to Ravelry, and this is one of them. I finished the cap, and it was sent away to Maine as a gift. The recipient has already been wearing it through the last weeks of winter.
thank you for the note!
🙂
