Hi Ladies! In response to your discussion about fibers that have anti microbial properties, I don’t know about bamboo but according to the spinner at Colonial Williamsburg hemp does. That is why it was used for rope and canvas. I’m knitting a summer sweater with a hemp blend and struck up a conversation with the lady spinning in the weaver’s shop about it . I learned a lot about hemp and other fibers from her. Thanks for all that you do!
Hi Carol – I didn’t know that about hemp, thank you for chiming in!
