Many, many people have birthdays in May. I am one of the fortune’s. I’m new to knitting, but I couldn’t think at 74 yrs old what would give me more pleasure. I was a weaver & A spinner, but because of compilations of cancer i can no longer pratice in what brought so much joy. I love through fiber arts. And then I met 3 knitters and the fiber arts door opened once again at my advanced age. I’m not to good yet, but I don’t give up very easily. When I grow up, I want to be you, lol. This yarn is so beautiful and like hundreds of women, I also pray I win

I would live to win this kit. I also prefer rectangular shawls and I would like to dive into trying a lace design and incorporating beads– fun!! I live that they include the fix stitch crochet hooks. They look to be a handy size and might fit into my 4″ knitting notions tin.
