  1. Hi Staci–As my knitting goal this year is to be a good colorwork knitter, this video is perfect right now. I have a sweater cast on, and I have a spot in the near future where there are three colors worked in one row. Do you have any tips on this? I’m thinking I would just be careful of my tension but do everything as I would with two colors. Am I wrong? When I search forums and blogs and so on, people make it sound like it’s the most terrifying thing they’ve ever done. Thanks for any advice!

    • Bethany – traditional fair isle only uses two colors per round, and I’ve never actually worked stranded knitting with three colors in a round. I think the techniques would be about the same, but you may want to contact the pattern designer for any additional advice.

    • Hey. I think Staci made a tutorial about adding a third color by using duplicate stitch for the color with the least amount, like the very center of a flower or snowflake. You could do a 2 color fair isle and then add in the 3rd color after all is finished. You would have to keep track of your pattern to make sure you leave the spacing correct

I made a team colors hat for my Husband and the blue did not show very well so I went back over that little section and it looks fine,

      Good luck with your sweater.
