Why is My Knitting Curling?
The sweater pattern I couldn’t remember is called Wicked, it doesn’t have a hood after all. I think I was confusing the Central Park Hoodie with Wicked, because I knit them both back in 2006.

  1. Hi Staci and Casey…I love your podcasts and heard you talking about the “Wallaby” sweater. I think the pattern you are referring to is the “Wonderful Wallaby”. It was a popular pattern years back and knit one a while back for my oldest grandson. He wore it until his mother had to pry it off of him because the sweater was way too short in the body and arms.

In case you’re interested, the designer has updated the pattern….I did order the updated version but haven’t knit it yet. Here’s a link in case you’re interested…

    • Thanks, Carol! I just looked, and I love that sweater…but I’m not sure it was the one I was thinking of. I’ll look at some more photos, maybe it is! Regardless, I love it, and I want to knit it now. Thank you!

  2. Hi, guys! I loved the interview last week about indigo. It’s actually my favorite color, so you had my interest immediately, and I’m now reading “The Indigo Girl” on Audible as I knit. Do you know of any yard dyers using natural indigo? I would really love some wonderful sock yarn in my favorite color. ???

  3. Hi Staci and Casey, I just listened to this episode and I think you misunderstood one of the questions. Mico from Ohio was having a problem getting her gauge correct. She said she “went down a size and got one more stitch”. You told her to be sure to block the swatch before checking the gauge. While that’s important, I think Mico was confused about needle size and stitches/inch. Getting more stitches when you go down a needle size is absolutely normal!

Love your podcasts and your videos! I used several of the videos in a knitting class I was teaching at our local YMCA.
