Regarding row Guage question and long skinny stitches, wonder if the person is unintentionally lengthening her knit stitches by the angle she inserts and or removes her needle when making the stitch?
Listened to your Podcast 141 this morning. Loved it, especially the “Women’s Winter” video. Learned I need to listen more often!
I really believe that tension has a lot to do with elongated knit stitches. Also, what about the actual knitting move as far as how far you push the needle through the stitch before completing the stitch.
Row gauge, like stitch gauge, can be affected by the material of the needles. Another thing that can change by small amounts is the brand of needles. For whatever reason that can make a difference.
