I’ve been knitting for a very long time and I use straight needles whenever I can. At the moment I have two scarves on the go and they are both on straights. I’m a tight knitter and struggling to pull the stitches off the cable onto the needle takes too much time and is very frustrating. I only use cables if the number of stitches won’t fit on straights.
