  1. Hi Staci! I love your tutorials, they are teaching me how to knit after thinking I would never work it out. I am watching the entrelac tutorial and it looks like when the work is turned, knit stitches are being worked like purls (as in the needle is being inserted in the back) and vice versa. I am a bit confused, can you please help?

  2. Linda – to work something in stockinette stitch, as this is (with a clear “right side” and “wrong side”), knit stitches are worked as purl stitches on the wrong side. Just trust the pattern – it works!

  3. Hi Staci, I was working a pattern that says increase 1-to-7. What is the best way to do this? Thanks for you help. I really like your website, it is my “go to” when I need help. The way you video when you are teaching something is the best!

  4. Hi Susanne – there may be something specific that designer is looking for, but if they haven’t given you any instructions beyond adding 6 more stitches to a single stitch, working k, kfb, k, kfb until you get to 7 is an easy way to do it!

    Hope that helps!

  5. Hi Staci,

I always use your tutorials for new stitches, how to correct errors and for new patterns (really for all my knitting needs). I have three of your sock patterns and now teaching two of my friends to knit socks. They love your tutorials. You explain everything simply and precisely. I consider your website a goldmine of information.

Thank you for all the help and information you provide.

  6. Hi Staci, I sure do appreciate your tutorials. Last time I was knitting the interent didn’t exist yet – this time learning is sooo much easier with the videos and your are especillay good. I can count on them to be clear, in focus, centered. Bravo and thank you.
