Thank you very much for the explanatatory video, it looks so simple when YOU make it! In the shape of a suggestion, may I say that it would be a good idea to show how the bind-off (or for that matter, any of the procedures you so nicely explain) looks once completed. I think it helps to have a reference as for the final result, so to speak.
j’adore! This will be the “something new” that I learned today 🙂
[…] no arremate, procurei na net uma forma de fazer com agulha de costura nesse ponto, e achei esse vídeo do blog VeryPink. É perfeito, fica ótimo, eu tinha problemas que ou ficava muito apertado […]
Thanks so much for sharing this technique. Despite my best efforts, I normally bind off on the tight side, but not using the sewn bind-off. You’re a great teacher!
Is their a rule of thumb regarding length of tail needed to do the sew bind-off for each project.
Jo – I find that three times the length of the seam is long enough for a tail.

Love this bind off!!! Just tried it on a toe up sock and there is plenty of stretch for the foot. I am so surprised. Looks so much better than traditional bind off. This is my new go to bind off for all my projects.
Thank you for your great video making the instructions so easy to use. I use your videos so many times because you always teach in a simple, easy to understand way.
