This website makes me feel like I have my own special knitting tutor. Thank you. I am a 71 year old retired secretary who just came back to knitting after a many year absence. You make it so easy to get back into it.
Thank you so much! These are the best knitting videos on the web, you make everything so clear and easy to understand. I have watched this technique dozens of times but yours is the first I could really grasp. I love that you use thick yarn that is easy to see and you are concise about your comments. I feel like you must have read my thoughts and made these exceptional knitting videos a year before I even began knitting, thanks again 🙂
I agree completely with comments above. I think these are the best tutorial videos on the web. You are very articulate and your demonstrations are extremely informative and easy to follow and see. You have made even the hardest knitting projects look like even I can do it. Thank you so much. If I have any questions, this is always the first place I turn to. Thank you so much.
when i knit and crochet for a long time my hand gets sore does that happen to you and if it does do you stop knitting or do you use a cream
Hey Staci,
Is there any tricks to doing duplicate stitch with something knitted in the round (say a pair of pants and you have to sew kind of inside the leg?
Sorry probably a weird question 🙂
Virginia – the technique is the the same, whether you’re knitting flat or in-the-round.

What is the best way to make a kitty face on a pair of fingerless mittens? I’ve never tried this before. Many thanks.
Donna – I would recommend the technique I show in this video (duplicate stitch). It’s really the easiest and nicest looking way of putting a design like that on your knitting.

I have been watching your videos and have learned a great deal. It has also increased my level of confidence and for that alone I thank you.The knitting improvements are fantastic. Now I am not afraid to try a new project and I am no longer so afraid of mistakes.
Thank you for the great videos. I want to do a duplicate stitch on garter knitting. Any way to do that? Thanks, Louise

If my hands get sore, I use the Snake Oil products that I talk about on this page:

Hope that helps!
