Hi Staci–
Super adorable sweater!
Where did you get your notions organizer? I want one!
Thanks as always for your wonderful videos!
Christine – thank you for the note. Here is a link to the notions case, it looks like the pink color is no longer available:

Staci,
Can the pattern be adjusted to fit 18 mos and 24 mos? What would you suggest as the number of cast -on stitches to allow for a larger size? I have a granddaughter who is now 15 months and would need at least an 18 month size for Christmas. Thanks!
Hi Patti – I’m afraid that a size modification isn’t a simple thing…you can try messaging Spud & Chloe to see if they can offer the patter in a wider range of sizes, but I’m not sure if they can do that. I suggest finding a similar pattern you like on Ravelry – one that is available in the size you need.

Staci that is adorable!! I want one just like it! Will u do a pattern for adults ? I would love make one for myself and I think it would be great for men too!
Love the simplicity!
Your faithful student,
Judith
Hi Staci,
I am trying to purchase pattern for hoody through Ravelry but it is telling me that “Verypink” is not a valid coupon code. Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks
Carol
Carol – sorry you’re having trouble. I haven’t heard about this problem from anyone else, and I’m afraid I have no control over the buying process from Spud & Chloe. You may want to try again, using a different browser, and/or contact Spud & Chloe customer service. Here is their “contact us” page: https://www.spudandchloe.com/contact-us/

Hi Staci
Thank you for reply. Problem solved.
It wasn’t recognising the code because I was including the inverted commas! Have got the pattern now and am looking forward to starting it with the help of your tutorial. The only thing being, when I print it off,the print on the pattern is too small. Have tried the zoom tools but no luck. will just have to read it from lap top. Thanks again – Carol
What cast on did you use?
Luisa – I used the long-tail cast-on. Any sturdy cast-on will do, like the long-tail or knitted cast-ons.

Staci, I just started working on Spud and Chloe’s “Honeybear hoodie” in size 4-8 months. I’m about to begin the bottom ribbing (have to wait for additional yarn), but as I examine what I’ve done it seems that the size is bigger than I expect for a 4-8 mo. old. Am I imagining this?? Thanks.
Bill – the pattern gives a schematic drawing, so you can check your in-progress measurements with the measurements in the schematic.

I love the style of knitting done in this pattern. I knitted the 9-12 month size.
Do you have or know any way to knit this style of hoodie in a girls size 6 and 14?
I would even take a pull over hoodie with a v front knitted in raglan style.
Gayle – I suggest doing a search on Ravelry for a similar pattern in the size you need. Here is my video on how to do an advanced search on Ravelry:

Maybe a silly question but I love the polka dot buttons that you used on the sample and wondered if you ordered them online? I am having difficulty finding that color.
Cindy – I got the buttons at JoAnn fabrics. They may be available on the JoAnn website, as well.

I never DREAMED I would ever be able to make a sweater….but I did! I am a very visual learner so your videos are heaven sent. Thank you so much for your videos.
Staci – I bought the pattern for the Honey Bear Hoodie but my granddaughter has outgrown it and my son would like me to make another. Could you please advise me as to how to adjust this for a 2 year old?

I love your tutorials! After watching this video, I wandered thru the Spu & Chloe website, looking for sweaters for my son. I found their “School Colors Hoodie”, and I’m curios what you think of this sweater. I’ve made your two-color baby sweater, and this looks like the next step in sizing.
Please, would you let me know if you think the “School Colors Hoodie” is similar to what you’ve shown for the baby sweaters?
Thanks so much!
Amanda
