Addi FlexiFlips Overview

In this video I give you an overview of the new Addi FlexiFlips needles – both how to use them, and my opinion.

The sock I used for demonstration is my Loaded German Short Rows sock pattern.

The sock yarn I used in the demonstration is by Turtlepurl, colorway Tangled Love.

My needle gauge ring is by Malojos.

My nail polish is Gelish “Black Cherry Berry”.

  1. In the video you mention that you purchased two sizes of needles. What sizes did you order? Also, how small can you go with the flex needles? The crown of a hat? I am interested in trying them for use with baby hats. Thanks for all your wonderful advise, as always!

    • I usually use 2.5mm or 2.75mm for fingering weight socks. And yes – you can use FlexiFlips for any small-diameter knitting, even very few stitches.

  2. Staci! Thank you so much for the flixiFlips video! I straight away ordered the needles (that same evening). I go back and forth between the magic loops and DPN. I can’t wait to try them out. 🙂

  3. Hi Staci: For socks I usually use two circular needles (instead of magic loop – one long circular needle) size 2.75mm for fingering weight yarn. These flexflips look like they would knit up the same but wouldn’t allow you to try on the sock as you go like the two circs. A girlfriend bought some and she will let me try them out before I buy them.

  4. I just ordered them . I hope that there will be a tutorial to knit socks with those needles soon
