Commenting on the lace question about multiple repeats. Here is my solution. I use a different colored highlighter on each repeat section and use corresponding colored stitch markers.
I use the KnitCompanion App to keep track of most of my knitting. I’ve never done anything as complicated as Steven’s award winning project but I find it really helps. Especially if you put your project down from time to time.
