  1. I also love to work with Merino wool. Perhaps there’s a good amount of lanolin still in the yarn? One reason for me not liking acrylic is how my hands feel while working with the course yarn. As noted on YouTube, I would love to win this and make it for my sister. She is very much into fantasy books. I recall her once reading a book with a character named Gilgamesh; I know she would love this cowl!

  2. This is the first time I’ve been excited about a pattern because of the yarn! This is very cool and I have several people in mind for it. Thanks for the opportunity!

  3. Thank you for the chance to win this giveaway. Just what I need for the cold weather here in the UK

  4. This is so beautiful, would love to win and maybe just keep it for myself for a Christmas gift :-), thank you for the opportunity to enroll

  5. That is hilarious! I love it! I am glad you made this video! Could this be an opportunity to teach a child about greek mythology AND knitting? Awesome! Even if we don’t win, we may just have to check out our own kits! Thank you Staci!

  6. Gilgamesh is the Mesopotamian version of the story of Noah and the flood, with the lone survivor being Gilgamesh. There are other differences as well. But it is interesting how many cultures have records of a world wide flood.

  7. Thank you so much for sharing this, it’s brilliant. Would love to catch one of the “beards” 😉

  8. Such a warm and fun pattern! Gilgamesh is a great idea. As someone said earlier, the yarn may have a nice lanolin content. That would surely make hands feel better. Hope to win one. Happy Thanksgiving.

  9. I don’t see the ‘i’ in the right hand corner. Watched vudeo several times. How else can I enter?

  10. I subscribed hopefully I be one of the six winners to the cowl, it looks so soft and warm and comfortable. Thank you for chance to win.

  11. That looks to be an amazing pattern because the end result is amazing and it would be perfect for both of my children. I would so much love to win this kit.
