  1. Thank you for another great episode of knitting questions and answers….these shows are my favorite-I learn so much!

  2. I would worry about the wood buttons warping. Wood tends to warp when in contact with water for long time (which is why they recommend you not to submerge your wooden hair combs and brushes, even for cleaning), so I’d guess it could distort the buttons? Never tried, though, so I’m just guessing.

  3. When I need buttons on a shawl I like to use the Jul fasteners. find them at Jul.com

  4. I’m knitting the Wonderful Wallaby, and unlike everyone else, apparently, I’m not finding the directions very clear. I could really use your help on knitting the placket. Maybe you can do a tutorial?

  5. It’s me again! ? This is in response to the lady who asked about her son’s hunting socks with the stretched out rubbing. This is what I would try. I’m curious to know if you think it would work. I would pick up just under the ribbing, then cut it off and knit new ribbing with fresh yarn. That would work, right?

  6. Hi! We are the creators of the row counter app. First, you have a great and interesting podcast! Thanks a lot! We also wanted to let you know that the app is also available on IOS (it is named My Row Counter there). If you have any suggestions to help us improve our row counter and make it even more suited to the knitter’s needs, please let us know! Happy knitting! Dorothée and Pierre.
