  1. Hi Staci ! On today’s podcast you mentioned ziplock bags. Please tell me the name on the box-there are so many ! Thanks, Mary Ellen

  2. On this episode you had a question about interchangeable needles (specifically Nova Platina) loosening. I do have a problem with metal interchangeables. The smaller more shiny the worse. I have found I need to use some kind of gripper to make sure I’m holding the needle end securely enough.

    • Another follow up to the interchangeable needle question lady. As mentioned above I’ve found I’ve got to use a gripper to tighten. Gripper on the smooth needle and the key through the hole.

      • Same here! Chiaogoo sells a set of 2 small, heart shaped grippers that I like. I believe I got mine on Amazon for only around $5.

  4. For the finger poke knitter question: I use Chiaogoo Twist interchangeables, and I do the same thing, especially when cableing. Eventually, I got a callus there, and it’s fine now, but before that developed, I kept cheapo kids plastic bandaids in my knitting bag, and put one on my finger as a proactive measure, kind of like a thimble.

  5. Nice that you got a chance to try out Ancient Arts. They are in my neck of the woods. They supplied the yarns for the guild’s 25th Anniversary last year. Nice colours!

Yes, wild roses grow all over the place. I thought everyone had them!! Sometimes they are so annoying — with the thorns. But I love the flowers (edible) and the rose hips!
