The Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Chunky yarn can be found here (check out all the colors!).
The yarn color I used in my sweater is Vintage Pink. The other colors I show in the video are Sailor Blue, Buttercup Yellow, Pillar Red, Marine Blue, Pansy Purple, and Slate Grey.

You can add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here.

The needles I’m using are Knitter’s Pride Ginger.
You can substitute Fisherman’s Rib for Brioche in the collar if you like.

  1. So, previously you had used the backward loop cast-on for the underarms on top-down raglan sweaters.
Are you liking this cable cast-on better for that or do you still prefer the backward loop cast-on?

  2. Staci is there a way to keep track of what row I’m working when knitting the yoke: knit then knit with Make one R or L. At present I slip a rubber band from right wrist to left each row. Ha

Love the Sky Blue yarn I got from Love Knitting.

    • Jo – you can keep track with a row counter…I made a note on my pattern to help me keep it straight. In the yoke, the two rounds are plain knit round, and increase round. I set the plain knit rounds as odd numbered rounds, and the increase rounds as even numbered rounds.

  3. Hi Staci,

I have a question about knitting needles which knitting needles are good I buy the regular needles which are available in Michael but sometimes I do not find the circular needles in 16 inches . Which needles are good in which I can get all the sizes say 16 inches, or 20 inches etc in circular knitting needles.

    Thanks
