  1. Fun episode.

For Sophie’s incredible growing sweater, if it’s superwash, she can toss the dry sweater in a hot dryer for 5-10 minutes. I’ve found that the heat helps the wool remember it’s crimp and the fabric will snug up. Hopefully enough to make it wearable. I do this all the time with my superwash wool sweaters unless I need them to stay stretched out.

  2. That sock pattern chart is perfect…it didn’t exist when I wrote my original question about toe-up socks in fingering weight. At that time I found it difficult to navigate all the sock patterns you have to try to find what I was looking for. Thank you for putting together this resource,

  3. I was wondering if Sophie re-washed and dried the sweater in the washer & dryer would it go back to the right size? Thanks for the tip about not treating superwash yarn like regular wool, I didn’t know this!

  4. Thank you so much for linking to my article about stitching for the film industry! Appreciate it!
