Slow-Motion Backwards (or Mirror) Knitting

In this video I demonstrate “mirror” or backwards knitting, a way to knit back across a row, when you would normally turn the work to purl.

Mentioned in the video – Entrelac tutorial
The shawl on the mannequin is Autumn Crunch by Vanessa Ewing, a pattern exclusively for Brioche Tier patrons of the VeryPink Knits Podcast (an audio production). More information here.
The needles I used are Knitter’s Pride bamboo DPNs, and the yarn is Paintbox Yarns Chunky.

  1. I taught myself this a couple years ago. It was a game-changer!

Agree with Felicia above: Your longer hair is awesome. You’re beautiful anyway, Staci. Love your hands.
