Provisional cast-ons are a way to create a cast-on that can be removed later, leaving you with live stitches. This video just demonstrates working the provisional cast-on. The next steps after the cast-on should be explained in your pattern. (Like what to knit next, when to remove the provisional cast-on, etc.) If you are unclear about what to do next, please contact the pattern designer for clarity.
