It is important to know that Tula Tweed is a chainette constructed yarn. I made a shop model and wet blocked it with no problems. It is a machine washable yarn, but the dryer is not recommended.
Nice input on various topics. I have a different experience with cotton. I can’t imagine throwing a handmade cotton sweater in the dryer. Shrinkage would happen. I also find it troubling that we can’t preshrink yarn, as one would preshrink a piece of fabric before cutting out a flat pattern. No answers from me. I’m just joining in on the conundrum of yarn blocking, with some growing and others shrinking. So much to consider.
