Thank you, Staci! This is really helpful!
BTW, I bought the Toddler Tunic pattern from you last year. It was a great experience. Thank you!! I started a hobby of knitting since then. I also really like the pink sweater on the mannequin in video, do you have the pattern and could I buy it from you?
Hi San – in this video, there is a pink shawl on the mannequin behind me. That pattern is called Ishbel:
(If you’re not on Ravelry yet you should be! it’s free, and it’s a great resource for patterns.)
There is a pink sweater on the mannequin behind me in other videos, however. That sweater is “Knitting Pure & Simple Pattern #221”. This company doesn’t currently make their patterns available online, but the patterns are available for purchase in some yarn shops.

Thank you so much, Staci! I had no idea of how to use the ball winder and swift. Thank you for showing me how. Now I won’t look like a complete dunce in the store! HEHEHE!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your website. I am looking to purchase a swift and ball winder and I have only seen wooden swifts and in your tutorial it appears that you have a plastic swift.
Since you are the “Goddess of Knitting” and I totally trust your judgment; what swift and ball winder do you recommend (wooden or plastic) and where can I purchase them?
Thank you so much for sharing your incredible knowledge and creating your amazing tutorials.
YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
Thanks again for all your wonderful tutorials. I was wondering if you can tell me what brand of swift you are using in the tutorial.
Thanks so much!
Hi Debbie – I don’t know the brand of my swift. I’ve had it for several years, and there is no name printed on it anywhere. Sorry!

I love love love your videos! Where did you buy your ball winder?
My ball winder was a gift, but I know they sell nice ones on the Knit Picks website, as well as http://www.yarn.com.
I have been wanting a ball winder and swift for a long time and finally got one. Your video made it so easy to use!!
