  1. Thank you, Staci! This is really helpful!
BTW, I bought the Toddler Tunic pattern from you last year. It was a great experience. Thank you!! I started a hobby of knitting since then. I also really like the pink sweater on the mannequin in video, do you have the pattern and could I buy it from you?

  2. Hi San – in this video, there is a pink shawl on the mannequin behind me. That pattern is called Ishbel:

(If you’re not on Ravelry yet you should be! it’s free, and it’s a great resource for patterns.)

There is a pink sweater on the mannequin behind me in other videos, however. That sweater is “Knitting Pure & Simple Pattern #221”. This company doesn’t currently make their patterns available online, but the patterns are available for purchase in some yarn shops.

  3. Thank you so much, Staci! I had no idea of how to use the ball winder and swift. Thank you for showing me how. Now I won’t look like a complete dunce in the store! HEHEHE!!

  4. Hi Staci!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your website. I am looking to purchase a swift and ball winder and I have only seen wooden swifts and in your tutorial it appears that you have a plastic swift.

Since you are the “Goddess of Knitting” and I totally trust your judgment; what swift and ball winder do you recommend (wooden or plastic) and where can I purchase them?

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible knowledge and creating your amazing tutorials.

    YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

    Happy Knitting!!!

    Jill

  5. Hi Staci,

Thanks again for all your wonderful tutorials. I was wondering if you can tell me what brand of swift you are using in the tutorial.

    Thanks so much!
    Debbie

  6. Hi Debbie – I don’t know the brand of my swift. I’ve had it for several years, and there is no name printed on it anywhere. Sorry!
