The nail polish I’m wearing is by Julep, color “Lupita”.
The sweater I’m wearing in the video is store-bought. 🙂
walmart or thrift stores
STASH in Calgary- love love love
Michael’s for the great volume / discount savings
Local yarn shops and Michael’s.
Local yarn shops!
Joann’s Fabric Craft Store
Online because we only have a sparsely stocked Wal-Mart in my town. The places I buy the most yarn from are Webs and KnitPicks. 🙂
I buy my yarn at my local LYS(local in my area means a two-hour [one way} drive either east or West) but if they don’t have what I’m looking for, I’ll order it online from either Canada or the US.
Joann’s Fabric Store and occasionally Starstruck Cat Yarn shop
I purchase my yarn mostly from Knit Picks (Internet) or Middleford Yarn and Stitchery Shop (local).
I used the wrong email SORRY!
I purchase my yarn mostly from Knit Picks (Internet) or Middleford Yarn and Stitchery Shop (local).
About two-thirds online and remaining at either a lys or craft store.
I prefer to buy locally, but I have purchased yarn online.
I usually order from lion brand, or from our local Ben Franklin store.
My local local Ben Franklin store.
Sometimes I mail order.
I try to by from local yarn stores when possible. I also purchase online when necessary. Love this needle set; never tried wood before. Thanks so much for the chance to win!!!
I buy most of my yarn from a local yarn shop.
I really try to support the local shops; sometimes the prices on line are so much less though! I really love Knitters Pride needles. Just purchased the delude circular set and they are such high quality!
I buy all my yarn on all places mentioned, local shops, online,Michael’s, Jo-Anns,I also have my own yarn from my Alpacas, we have 17 Alpaca’s. Love Knitti g and Love Very Pink.
Walmart or Michaels craft store
I love to support local yarn shops when I can. When I need to I order online. Knitter’s pride needles are my favorite.
Most of the time I go to JoAnn’s but I do go to yarn stores when I am looking for something specific.
Mostly JoAnn’s or Hobby Lobby since they are the closest but I will drive to a yarn store when I need a specific item or yarn.
Local stores, thrift shops and Michaels
I buy much of my yarn from AC Moore the rest from either Walmart or a local yarn and craft store. Love the Knitters Pride Dream single point needle set.
Craft store
I’ve purchased from Revelry, KnitPicks and Loops a local specialty yarn store in Tulsa.
Staci am doing my first sweater and I am almost to the end of my first skein of yarn how much yarn should I waste before I tie it on to a new skein on the side I looked at your tips and I couldn’t find my answer thank you joy
I used to purchase yarn mostly from JoAnn Fabrics. Now that I have discovered Ravelry I am purchasing through this website. I ordered some sumptuous Debbie Bliss cashmerino in Duck Egg for a sweater. I can’t wait to get it and start my project.
Mainly at my local spotlight store, also on line and sometimes eBay. I am also looking at slowly replacing everything that was in my knitting bag which was forgotten by my partner in a cab on our way home from a recent trip and sadly was not recovered.
JoAnn’s and PatCatan’s, but they don’t carry various brands. I would LOVE to start shopping online as both of the stores I mentioned don’t even know what “DK weight” means when I ask where they keep it LOL. I am so tired of worsted weight acrylics.
Most of my yarn is purchased online through Herschnner’s or Mary Maxim. Sometimes locally at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn’s. Love your website and videos.
Oh I also shop at the local Goodwill stores! 😀 I just found a bundle of straight needles for $5! The yarns they have there are usually old and look like they have been stored for ages, but once in awhile there are partial projects just waiting to be finished.
