Note from Staci – In this episode, I mentioned that I usually only wash my hand knits once at the end of the season, and this is true, but I wasn’t thinking about socks when I said that! I knit machine-washable socks, and I machine wash them and set them out flat to dry more than once a season!

From Our Sponsors:
Bijou Basin Ranch, a Tibetan Yak ranch in Colorado. I recently did a tutorial on their Beau Felted Wrap that uses their Bijou Spun “Himalayan Trail” yarn, a yak down and merino blend.

June Cashmere – Use the promo code VERYPINK for free shipping on orders $100 or more. This is the scarf I’m currently knitting using their DK weight cashmere yarn, more info on my Ravelry page.

  1. For lace knitting, I have found that Knitter’s Pride Karbonz work really well. The tips are super sharp and the shaft is just “sticky” enough to keep the stitches put while doing increases & decreases. They have made lace knitting so much easier for me.

  2. Thank you for answering my question on the podcast. It was a thrill to hear my name and your answer was very helpful. Thanks again for all you do’

  3. Ladies, there are actually a couple of videos on YouTube showing Bijou Basin Ranch and their yaks, and other videos showing how yak fibers are collected. Just search Bijou Basin Ranch or yak fiber collection.
I’v learned more about yaks than I ever thought I wanted to know.

  4. You can adjust audio speed on a movile device. In IOS under the native podcast app it is next to the back button.
