Knits That Fit
Hello Ladies ! Enjoy everything “pink” ! I have a favourite sweater knit by my mom (she has passed) many many years ago. Can I “deconstruct” and re-create ? Do I have to destroy it to accomplish this ? Thanks for all that you do for the knitting world and those that inhabit it. 🙂 Petra (another Canadian) from Brookings, Oregon
Hi Petra – please send your question to the podcast, we will be happy to answer it there! podcast@verypink.com
Nothing to do with knitting, but if you like elderberry, you should try this wine. My girlfriend loves it, but it’s too sweet for me: Manischewitz Elderberry 🙂
Hello from Granada, Spain!! I just wanted to say thank you to Mary (Mary from Chicago -I couldn’t really get the surname) for the great suggestion of looking at finished pictures of a particular project when you can’t bring yourself to finish it. I’ve tried it and it does work wonders! No more eternal WIPs from me.
Best,
– Tatiana.
Hi Stacie and Casey, Here’s a link to a review of Unshrinkit by Clara Parkes for Knitter’s Review. She was intrigued and tested (i.e. sacrificed) it on a sweater. It did work in the sense that she ended up with a sweater close to the original dimensions. But, it was still clearly a felted sweater that had been machine washed. Also a caveat about one other thing, the smell.

Thought this might save you from your own experiment.
