  1. I just realized that when I taught myself to knit Continental, that I would end up doing the purl with the opposite wrap as you show here, but I didn’t knit into the back leg. I was undoing the twist, but not retwisting it. I have since (awkwardly) fixed my Continental purl, but I’m going to try knitting in the back leg and wrapping oppositely now. I have like five styles of knitting now…lol.

  2. So many different techniques and you explain them all so well. I’ve watched several of your videos and always, always come away with something very helpful. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

  3. I am a combination knitter, or to an extent. When knitting in the round, I knit into the front leg and wrap counterclockwise. It is only when knitting flat that I knit into the back leg due to the purl stitches.

Regarding K2TOG and SSK, I simply reload the stitches onto my left needle and proceed as everyone else does. I’ve reached the point that this is automatic and fast, so it doesn’t really interrupt my flow.

I started combination knitting mostly because I hated that loose stitch after a cable, and the combination knitting technique seemed to improve that immensely.

    Thank you for your video.
