This episode popped up in my email alerts while I was knitting a knocker for my local chapter 🙂 I had to try some new colors of Bamboo Pop I got this past week on the 2019 LA Yarn Crawl. It’s one of the approved yarns. I’ve also used Cascade Ultra Pima, and, my favorite, Fair Isle Harbor, which I can get for $4-$5 a skein at Joann. I’m slowly adding all my backlog of finished knockers to a Ravelry project, mostly out of curiosity about how many I’ve made this past year. I think it’s somewhere around 30. We have a fun local group that meets up every 3rd Saturday of the month for a few hours at our local used book shop, The Open Book.
Oh, and watching you knit on DPNs months ago made me realize I was doing something weird. I made myself do it your way, which took some thinking, but now I knit like you, needles at the front, the rest at the back. I was knitting inside out, and didn’t even realize it. I’m pretty new, though, knitting just over a year now.
