  1. Hi Stacy, in your climate, I would guess that dahlias would be perennials (in the Northeast we have to dig them up every fall), and they would be great for a colorful cutting garden. I tend to grow some of the taller/bigger zinnias for the same effect. They are the poor-man’s annual version of the same type of flower. Love the knitting, but also love all the flowers!
