This video is the next in my series of knitCompanion app videos. You can see all of the videos in my knitCompanion playlist.
To try knitCompanion, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and search for knitCompanion (one word) to download the free version of the app.
The scarf on the mannequin is Mother Earth Wrap, more information and tutorial here.
Hey Staci! I had downloaded the free version of knitCompanion for my Android devices a while before you posted these videos, but never really *used* it until your video series. Since then, I actually purchased a refurbed iPad so I could be a paid subscriber. I use the app every day now and absolutely love the counters!
Hi Staci,
I have been using KC for a couple of years now, but have not totally learned everything in this app…..your tutorials are very helpful!
What I’m wondering is how the linked counters are linked to the main counter ….the one that uses the voice command.
I’m probably missing something here, but how do you link counters if you’re following a chart using the voice command, but have to dec rounds, say every 6th round, and you want to advance the counters in the bottom box?
I can’t figure this out….help!
Michele – sorry, I don’t know the answer to that question. I’m still learning about all of the features in the counters, the next video is on Smart Counters, in fact. You can send your question to kC directly at support@knitcompanion.com.
