  1. I am left handed but knit and crochet right handed. Like Temia, I crocheted for years before I finally was successful knitting. I cannot knit continental because I have short stubby fingers. It took a while, but I finally did switch to flicking from English. Yet again, my short fingers does make flicking challenging, so I modified the stitch style to one that works for me. My primary focus is to have fluid movement from one step to the next. The whole point is to reduce movement to economical movement…reduce how wide your movements are.
