Hi Staci,
Twice in recent podcasts you two have mentioned yarn “unpinning” when knitting. It’s fairly simple, it’s when you pull from the center and it comes off in the opposite direction of the spin. Pull out yarn from a center pull ball and you can see how it spins around the interior. Now if you happen to pull from the other end of the ball, it spins the other way. So sometimes it will unspin and another time it will not. Hope this makes sense.
