  2. This photo is adorable. They look just like little boys all happy to see one another! I love how the two Houston boys are looking at the two Austin boys (I’m not sure who’s who, but that’s what it looks like, at least). SO CUTE!

    I have to admit that every time I went past your old house, I’d look in the windows for Gus and Lou. I rarely saw them and I felt so sorry for them all alone in the house.

  5. Oooh Staci!! Just seeing the four of them together made me cry!! I am so happy that they are together; how long is the extended stay?? They all look so happy to be together and I am sure that they are a handful!!

    Maybe the Austin boys can teach the Houston boys how to carry things from the house to the yard. Wouldn’t that be a neat trick for them to learn?

  14. yay! i’d cry, but it would just start the coughing again. “the sickness” has struck my home and all of us are down. sammie and i have pneumonia and i’m hoping my dad doesn’t get it too. this season’s flu is super nasty. take lots of photos of the boys, all of them, and be sure to post them all!

  17. This is so much fun! My “extended” date with these boys will last for FOUR weeks. What a treat for me.

    I’m happy to report that they instantly meshed back into a pack of four, with no posturing. Gus and Ike were all, “Hey, dude.” Lou and Abe were all, “HIIIIII! FRIEND! PLAY!”

    I’m loving this. I slept so soundly last night with all four of them snuggled up with me. 🙂

  24. Oh wow! That must be so nice for you …. and them. I would start by sitting on the floor amongst them – of course they’d probably be goofy and run themselves ragged first. Is that what you did?

    Did they all get along really well? Did you notice any behaviour changes?

  27. Wow, I am way behind on reading your blog, but I am so glad to see the guys back together again. I was so bummed when you only got two of them. I guess I felt really sorry for them more than anything. I know they had formed their own relationships with one another and they probably didn’t understand what happened. But I am now very happy that they will all be living with you.
