Adding Plastic Snaps to Your Knitting

In this video I demonstrate how to add plastic snaps to your knitting, specifically, adding snaps to convertible mitts.

My Knock Knock Convertible Mitts tutorial can be found here.

The snaps I used are Kam Snaps, I got my kit here on Amazon.

  1. I always wondered how these qork. Never knew they were easy to use. I was wondering if you had a video showing the whip stitch? I think I might be overlooking it, and this will be my first time attaching something to my knitting. Thank you, Latanya.

    • Latanya – here is a time-coded link to a whip stitch video: https://youtu.be/pG86hhrDdzQ?t=96 The whip stitch is very simple…I honestly think if I gave no instructions for seaming down the mitten top, everyone would just naturally do the whip stitch without instruction. Very simple, very intuitive, hope that helps.
