  1. The best tip I learned from Carson’s book:
    Support your forearms!
I suffered with elbow pain and had to go for PT.
The trick is not to knit with your arms in
    “the air”.
Lay a pillow or blanket or the afghan you are knitting across your lap and rest your forearms on top, supported.
    It works.

  2. A suggestion for Karen and her Harry Potter jumper.
She can knit a grey wool and a thin thread of silvery lurex together. Il adds some “shine” but keeps all the quality of wool -elasticity, warmth -without the inconveniences of lurex – itchiness and lack of elasticity.

  3. When I click on the Amazon link for the book it’s only available for over $1,000. I mean, I’m sure it’s a great book, but $1000 is a LOT of yarn 😉

  4. Blue sky fibers has a metalico line with a lovely silver yarn. They’re also very soft.
