That is so nifty! The number hides again when you refresh the page, so you can entertain yourself over and over with this trick, haha.

  2. Do you have to do this Ravelry thing from a computer? I can’t seem to do it from my iPad.

    • I don’t know if it makes a difference or not, but I used my computer to set up my Ravelry account and then later when my computer broke, I downloaded the app on my phone. It’s worked fine for me since.

    • You can access Ravelry.com from any browser on your mobile devise. I use an iPhone and iPad and use the native Safari browser.

  3. Thanks so much for the Ravelry tip (my number is 264,181) – it’s amazing what I consider fun these days. And thanks for the podcasts – I look forward to them every week. You’re the only podcast in my queue that doesn’t have a backlog. Have a great day!

  4. I have tried several cable needles and I just LOVE the Brittany cable needles! They changed my mind about doing cables. I panic when I drop one because I’m afraid I’ll lose it. Luckily, I still have all them.

As far as pronunciation goes, I have been teased for years because of the way I say “didn’t”. I actually distinctly pronounce both d’s. Try it!

Love these podcasts and the both of you!

    Later!

    Cindy

    • I LOVE Brittany cable needles too. I came across them in my search to find a less cumbersome cable needle to carry only 1 stitch at a time for a mosaic project.

  5. Casey,
Best audio to date for an off site interview.
    Sincerely,

  6. I have been binge listening for a while, I was so sad today when I realized I have caught up
Love the podcast and all the helpful Ravelry tips.
I’ve learned so much from listening. You ladies are the best.

  7. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Ravelry interview. It was very interesting to hear about how it started and grew. I discovered it not long after I taught myself how to knit. I credit my love and dedication to this craft/art/life skill to Ravelry’s existence. I use it to find patterns, post projects, and maintain my stash. Almost every time I go yarn shopping, I will consult with my stash on Ravelry to determine if I have something already, or how much yarn I need for a project I want to start.

Thank you for this wonderful podcast that brings so much wonderful and useful information.

    • Just wanted to let you know that the sound cuts out for about 2 minutes around minute 21 on my download from iTunes. Thanks for everything!

  8. Love the podcasts! I think Casey mentioned a toddler top-down-old-man’s sweater with a shawl collar in this episode. I’m looking for a pattern for this type of sweater. Will there be link?
    Thanks
